It was announced last week that Community members in the Livewire scheme had won a prestigious health and safety award.
The SHP IOSH awards, the Safety and Health Practitioner magazine from the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety Institute, was held on Wednesday October 8th.
Nominated for the Best Health and Safety Achievement in Manufacturing, Livewire were up against BAE Systems, Balfour Beatty Rail Track Systems, Sellafield, Springfield Fuels and Westinghouse Rail Systems.
Eric Wilkinson, Chairman of the Wire Health and Safety Committee collected the award on our behalf.
